Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has released a tender regarding rectification work at the Ramagundam solar power plant site at Singareni Collieries, Telangana.
The scope of work includes
- Rectification and termination of series strings in string monitoring boxes (SMBs)
- As well as the delivery of copper ferrules
- Heat-shrinkable sleeves
- MC4 connectors, and Y connectors
During the rectification work, the contractor will also be responsible for procuring all essential raw materials and ensuring the safety of all personnel.
An earnest money deposit (EMD) of $29,110 ($384) is required from the bidder. A security deposit of 3% of the contract value will be required of the winning bidder. The last day to submit the bid is March 8, 2022.
From the date of contract award, the contract will last for two months. The parties may agree to prolong the contract period if it is mutually beneficial.
- Within 45 days of obtaining the work order, the work must be performed.
- Within 30 days of the project’s completion date, all maintenance work must be completed.
- For the last three financial years ending March 31, 2021, the bidder’s average annual turnover should be $515,247 ($6,805).
The bidder must have done operation and maintenance, electrical installation and commissioning, or repair work on power projects in India during the last seven years.
If two or more bidders submit the lowest, the winning bidder will be determined by a lottery held in the presence of the bidders’ representatives.
This tender will be evaluated as a whole, meaning there will be no splitting of the offer. Before beginning work, at least half of the required security deposit, including the EMD, will be collected. The remaining security deposit will be collected by gradually deducting 10% of the gross amount from each of the bidder’s running bills until the complete amount of the needed security deposit is received.
