THE FUTURE OF
CLEAN ENERGY
REVOLUTIONARY KNOW MORE

At Ornate, we dream of leading India one step closer to a sustainable future!

Towards this goal, we are committed to developing future-ready technologies
that fulfill consumers’ unique energy needs and minimize their carbon footprint.

We established our in-house Research and Development unit under the leadership of Dr. Bidyut Kumar Bhattacharyya, an IEEE Fellow with over 25 years of research experience, and have expanded our team with some of the finest talents in the industry.

From Recognition to Collaboration

In 2022, our R&D facility received prestigious recognition from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR).

Now, collaborating closely with esteemed institutions such as IIT-Delhi, IIT-BHU, FIIT and MAIT, we’re crafting efficient, reliable, and cutting-edge solutions that solve the challenges of traditional electricity systems.

OUR DEVELOPMENTS

Solar InRoof
A Roof Made of Solar Panels

InRoof is a unique solution that turns solar panels into a leak-proof primary roof and eliminates the need for metal roofing in industrial buildings. InRoof is modern, infinitely scalable, and can be installed fast.

And, we are constantly working on making it bigger and better!

Ojas Solar Structure
Rooftop Solar Installed in Hours

The APL Apollo Ornate Solar roof is an elevated structure that can be set in just 4 hours and provide a lifetime of clean and affordable energy. The IIT-certified solution has been tested against wind speeds of over 180km/hr and is fully corrosion-proof.

Vertical Facade
Transforming Buildings into Powerhouses

Picture solar panels covering buildings like skin, not just on roofs or the ground. An ideal solution for the urban setting, the vertical solar panel façade would make efficient use of available space and enhance the aesthetics of the building.

Aqua Pi
Water Drainage Clamp for Panels

Aqua Pi is a tiny, yet incredibly powerful clamp that drains accumulated water from the lower edges of the solar panel. The simple maintenance tool can prevent dust accumulation, avoid hotspot effect, and raise power output by up to 10%.

Vyasa DG PV Device
Powering  PV Systems with Diesel Generator

Advanced DG PV Synchronization Device, Vyasa, is an intelligent controller powered by edge computing. The smart device communicates both with the Diesel generator and solar inverter to power the on-grid PV system during blackouts.

Solar Panel Cleaning Robot
Streamlining Solar Maintenance

Maintenance of large-scale solar plants can be a time-consuming process. To streamline this step, the Ornate Solar team is building self-navigating cleaning robots that will remove dust and debris from solar panels and maximize efficiency.

Solar Inverter
Optimizing Efficiency in Harsh Weathers

Driven by the desire to create a device specifically for the Indian landscape, our team is working on engineering an efficiently temperature-controlled grid-tie solar inverter. The robust device would ensure consistent solar generation in harsh weather conditions while minimizing failure.

Solar Trackers
Streamlining Solar Maintenance

Land resources are limited. To optimize energy extraction from megawatt-scale solar plants, we’re developing a single-axis tracker designed to track the sun’s movement from east to west. Each component is thoroughly tested to ensure the highest quality standards and best PV performance.

Warranty Clip
Securing Solar Inroof Installions

It is a special plastic based warranty clip that is Vandal Resistant against birds/monkeys to hamper with InRoof Assembly at any point of time. Works as a warranty seal to protect the complex InRoof Assembly that helps in making a Water Proof Roof.

Bidyut Bhattacharyya ji is an Intel Principal Engineer , who was a key member of Intel’s teams which worked on the 80386 and 80486 projects during the late 1980s and early 1990s. While at Intel, he received the Intel founder’s award and was recognised by the IEEE as one amongst the youngest Fellows for his work in semiconductor assembly and packaging.

He was recognized by Craig Barrett, Pat Gelsinger and Chuck Steidel at Intel for his work on the electrical characterisation of packages, and for his pioneering work in iPest which led to superior performance of on the 80486 with a reduced number of power planes. He holds 30+ patents and served at Intel for 27 years after completing PhD from the State University of New York, and his Msc. in Physics from IIT-Kanpur.

He returned to India and joined Ornate Solar as our Technical Director & CTO to contribute to the growth of the evolving Semiconductor & Electronics ecosystems wherein we are exploring potential manufacturing opportunities to support India’s National Semiconductor Mission.
