The ITI Limited has invited expression of interest (EoI) to select business associates for the design, installation, and commissioning of 1,000 off-grid solar projects in Jammu and Kashmir. Each solar project will be of 3.5 kW capacity and will be installed at panchayat ghars under the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.
The contract includes 5 years of maintenance and an extended 2 years of maintenance. It also includes vocational training for the locals.
If we talk about the scope of work, it includes
- implementing the complete project on a back-to-back basis
- Communicating with program implementing agencies, Department of Rural Development, and Panchayati Raj
- Identification of the site
- Bill Realization
- Statutory Clearance
- Addressing the Grievances of the Customer
The last date to submit the bids is 19th July. The bid will be opened on 20th July. The estimated cost of the project is around INR 500 Million.
Interested bidders will have to submit an amount of ₹200,000 as an earnest money deposit.
To participate in the bidding process, the bidder should be an original manufacturer of indigenous solar modules, an off-grid and on-grid power conditioning unit manufacturer, or a system integrator.
The bidder should also have completed a similar project worth 80% of the project cost within the last 7 years. Or bidder should have completed 2 projects worth 50% of the project cost or 3 projects worth 40% of the project cost.
The bidder’s total annual turnover for the last 3 financial years should be a minimum of INR 205 Million.
The material or system should be warranted for five years from the completion date of the project or the handover.
The bidder who is a micro and small enterprise should enclose a copy of the valid certificate issued by a body specified by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to avail the benefits under the ‘Public Procurement Policy for Micro and Small Enterprises Order, 2012’ and its amendments.
