MPUVNL Invites Bids for

MPUVNL, Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. has invited a tender to install 35MWp grid-tied rooftop solar systems across various locations in the state. The successful bidder will have to undertake the project’s O&M (operation and maintenance) for 25 years. The last date for online submission of bids is July 13, 2022, and bids will be opened on 15 July 2022. EMD amount for this tender would be Rs 100,000 per MW.

As per tender T&C, the minimum net worth of a bidder must be either Rs 25 lacs per MW or a minimum average annual turnover of Rs 1 crore per MW during the last three years.

The financial requirements will be computed on a cumulative basis by adding an individual financial requirement for each project group, in case the bidders submit bids for two or more project groups. In the case of a consortium, the financial eligibility criteria will get jointly met by the lead member or its affiliate.

The nodal agency, successful bidder, and procurer must ensure that the PPA (power purchase agreement) gets signed within 45 days of the work order based on the project capacity as established through an on-ground survey of the site. The solar project developer will pay liquidated damages at the rate of 5% of the performance bank guarantee per week of the delay. Net metering & grid connectivity would be the project developer’s responsibility as per the guidelines prescribed by the Central Electricity Authority, distribution company, and net metering provisions in the state.
