The last date for bidding for the 1.28 MW grid-connected rooftop solar project is 5th May 2021.
Biding for the 1.28 MW grid-connected rooftop solar projects with net metering , was initiated by The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency. This project will be installed at the Government Medical College and Hospital in Nagpur. The project will be in two parts of 640 kW each.
The Bidder, who will win this project, has to do the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the project, as well as the solar projects’ operation and maintenance (O&M) activities for five years. The opening date for the project is 6th May 2021, & the pre-bid meeting will take place on April 19.
An amount of ₹517,317 (~$6,894) as the earnest money deposit has to be done by the bidders. The successful bidder will have to deposit 3% of the contract price as security value, the deadline of which will be within ten days from the date of issue of the work order. Also, the bidder should ensure that the project commissioning work should be started within 120 days from the date of the work order’s issuance.
The minimum annual turnover of the bidder should be ₹100 million every year from the last three years and & they should have experience in manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of a grid-connected solar power project of more than 2 MW capacity too. As an important document, the bidder should have a valid International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) certificate of modules and inverters from any authorized centre of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). Further, the solar modules, should be Made in India, and they should have a minimum of 250Wp and above wattage.
