Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has issued a tender for 106 MW of solar projects. UPNEDA is inviting online bids through e-tendering for the selection of solar developers.
UPNEDA, Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency, have invited e-tenders for the selection of solar developers to set up decentralized, ground-mounted grid-connected solar power plants aggregating to a 106 MW capacity under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha even Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM Yojna). The last date to submit the bids online is June 15, 2021.
According to the tender document, “The solar developers may be an individual, group of developers/cooperatives/panchayats/farmer producer organizations/water user associations or project developers to whom the land has been leased by the farmer.”
This 106 MW capacity solar power plant has been divided into three segments, 0.5 MW, 1 MW, and 2 MW capacity under Component A of the scheme by UPNEDA. The project should be commissioned within 12 months from the date of the issuance of the letter of award.
The minimum individual project capacity to be developed at a particular substation is 500 kW, while the maximum individual project capacity to be developed at each substation has been capped at 2 MW per bidder. The tariff for the tender has been set as ₹3.10/kWh.
The required EMD amount shown to be deposited by the bidder as Rs 5900/-is the non-refundable bid processing fees payable by the bidder inclusive of GST of Rs 5900/MW. Deposition of non-refundable bid processing fees of Rs 5900/MW is mandatory as per Section II clause 2.81 of RfS.
Therefore the amount shown as to be deposited as EMD should be read as bid processing fees Rs 5900/ MW and accordingly bidder is required to deposit fees.
