Enphase Energy Allocates $60 Million to Build Manufacturing Facilities in the US

Enphase Energy Inc. plans to invest $60 million in establishing manufacturing units in the United States. According to reports, US President Joe Biden will announce this significant investment during his visit to South Carolina.

This move will mark Enphase’s first US-based contract manufacturing facility. It will create approximately 1,800 new jobs across the United States, including 600 jobs in South California, as per the statement from Whitehouse.

Enphase aims to establish six manufacturing lines, which will strengthen clean-energy supply chains and power up to one million homes annually with solar energy. The company will work closely with its partner Flex Ltd, a global supply chain & manufacturing solutions provider in the US.

Badri Kothandaraman, the President and CEO of Enphase, along with Mr. Revathi Advaithi, the Chief Executive Officer of Flex, will be present for the announcement.

Enphase Energy is the pioneer of the Microinverter technology and the company has established a presence in over 145 countries across the globe. It has factories in India, Mexico, and China.
