UnityESS is a battery energy storage system (BESS) brand from Ornate Solar and Inverted Energy, built in India for Indian sites. India’s non-fossil capacity reached 300.50 GW on 31 July 2026, over 60% of the 2030 target, with solar at 164.59 GW (Business Today). Storage is catching up: Mercom India Research reports 8.2 GWh added in the first half of 2026, about 84 times the same period of 2025, taking installed capacity to 9.3 GWh. The government is backing it with ₹5,400 crore of viability gap funding for 30 GWh, and the Central Electricity Authority expects India to need 236 GWh of BESS by 2031-32 (Business Standard). Mercom adds that the questions are now system availability, cycling performance, safety, and degradation. Those are the questions we have spent nine years on.

All models use LFP cells rated for ≥10,000 cycles, except Aura, which uses LFP cells rated for 8,000 cycles. All are designed and tested to IEC 62619, IEC 61000, UL 9540A and UN 38.3

UnityESS Aura puts cells, BMS, power conversion, thermal management, and fire protection into one standardised outdoor cabinet, with a switching time under 20 milliseconds and a built-in MPPT input for solar. It suits any site where a power cut costs more than the system: factories, warehouses, hospitals, data centres and cold storage.

Aqua is the industrial workhorse. Liquid cooling holds tighter thermal control across the cell stack, which extends cycle life, keeps performance steady in high ambient heat, and allows more power in the same footprint. It spans three voltage tiers, UnityESS Aqua 4, 6, and 8, and scales by adding modules in parallel. In Coimbatore, an Aqua system runs a first-of-its-kind BESS-integrated EV charging deployment.

UnityESS Ultima packs batteries, PCS, liquid thermal management, fire protection, and Unity EMS into a single 20-foot container, with IP66 protection for coastal and high-humidity sites. It handles ramp-rate control, frequency response, peak shaving, and shifting midday solar to the evening peak. At Phalodi, Rajasthan, seven Ultima containers were commissioned together to make 35 MWh, and they are still running.

Unity EMS is the energy management software we built in-house. It runs on every UnityESS system and decides in real time whether to charge from solar, import from the grid or discharge, based on your load and tariff. It extends battery life and gets more efficient as it learns your site. Our operations centre monitors it 24/7, on the same dashboard you see.

Every UnityESS system is tested against the conditions of your site before it goes live, and our own engineers commission it. Systems are running today in:

• Phalodi, Rajasthan: 35 MWh, seven Ultima containers commissioned together.
• Bikaner, Rajasthan: 5 MWh of solar-plus-storage.
• Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: 261 kWh Aqua system, a first-of-its-kind BESS-integrated EV charging site.
• Maharashtra: 34 MWh offsetting peak-tariff grid power for a business.
